برمی افواج پچھلے چالیس  سالوں سے جھوٹ پر جھوٹ گڑھ  رہے ہیں .  میں ذاتی طور پر ان تمام با اثر افراد سے واقف ہوں جو نسل کشی کے اس کھیل میں ملوث ہیں .  وہ مجھے نازیوں کی  طرح شیطان فطرت  دکھتے ہیں .

جبکہ  

  وہ مجھے " غدار وطن " اور      " ریاست کا دشمن"        گردانتے  ہیں . میں اپنے وطن کے باسیوں  کو   

    نسلی و مذہبی فرق کے  باوجود  بخوبی  پہچان سسکتا ہوں

  

میں نے  کتپلونگ  کیمپ میں موجود  روہینگیا ئی  بھائی  سے معذرت  کی  جس کے آنسوں ایک اچھے برمی کو دیکھ کر  چھلک پڑے . ہم نے ایک دوسرے  کو ٥ منٹ  تک گلے لگاتے  رکھا . اس دوران ہمارے درمیان کوئی بات چیت نہیں ہوئی . کیوں کہ کسی گفتگو کی گنجائش  اب باقی بھی کہاں رہی تھی .

 پیار ، محبت ، اور تکلیف کی کوئی سرحد نہیں ہوتی .  یہ تو عالمگیر جذبات ہیں .

The Burmese military (Tatmadaw) have  accordingly manufactured and propagated lies after lies over 40-years.

I know every other influential figure personally who has been involved in this genocide.

I view them as evil as the Nazis. They consider me a "national traitor" and "enemy of the state". 

I identify with the survivors of my country's genocide despite our differences in ethnicity and faith background.

So, I said, "Sorry", to this Rohingya brother who broke into tears at the site of a "good Burmese" at Kutupalong camp.

We held each other for about 5 minutes.  No conversation as he did not speak Burmese.   But no conversation was needed either.  

Compassion and pain are universal.
